Good Instructions After Rescue
Family guide · God Gives Good Instructions · Exodus 20:1-17; Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Matthew 22:34-40 · about 15 minutes
Big idea: God's instructions showed His people how to love Him and one another.
This study begins with God's rescue and then groups the commandments around love for God and neighbour.

Talk about it
- Why does the story begin with rescue?
- Which truthful or respectful action can our family practise?
This week
Action: Choose one concrete action: tell the truth, return something, honour a promise, or make time to worship.
Prayer: God, thank You for rescue and good instruction. Help us love You and our neighbours.
Note for parents: Do not use this lesson to demand unquestioning obedience to adults. Reinforce that unsafe requests and harmful secrecy should be reported to a trusted adult.
