Big idea: Genre shapes meaning: poems, proverbs, and wisdom arguments must not be read as flat propositions.
This short study follows the same big idea as Sunday and is designed for about 15 minutes.

Talk about it
- What is one thing the passage clearly says?
- How should that truth shape one action this week?
This week
Action: Compare a psalm and a proverb and ask how the form changes the way each should be applied.
Prayer: God, help us understand Your word and respond faithfully.
Note for parents: Do not force disclosure or a predetermined emotional response. Let the passage lead the conversation.
