Dignity Scenario Cards

Read one scenario. Ask: “What would it look like to treat this person as valuable?”

  1. A new child does not know the game.
  2. Someone speaks more slowly than you.
  3. A child is left out at lunch.
  4. Two children want the same toy.
  5. Someone made a mistake and feels embarrassed.
  6. A person looks, moves, or communicates differently from you.

Do not ask children to identify a classmate who fits a scenario. Keep examples general.
