  2. 4 minContext. Introduce the passage setting, speaker, audience, and genre in age-appropriate language.
  3. 8 minRead and observe. Read selected parts of Genesis 1 slowly, tracking what God says and makes. Ask: What actions does God take in this passage? What words or patterns repeat?
  4. 7 minDiscuss. Identify the repeated pattern and state what it shows about God and creation. Ask: What does the passage show about God? What is one fitting response to a world God made?
