Objective: Students connect rescue, covenant vocation, law, and tabernacle presence and explain the problem of holy presence among sinners.

Opening: Ask: What changes when a powerful and good king chooses to live among a community that is not yet trustworthy?

Say:

Sinai begins with rescue already accomplished.
Israel receives a vocation and covenant commands.
Boundaries and fear show the seriousness of God’s holiness.
The tabernacle expresses God’s desire to dwell among the people while access remains ordered and mediated.
