Opening: Ask: How can a library contain many kinds of books but still have one subject area or purpose?

Say:

The Bible is not one modern book written at one time.
Its writings include narrative, law, poetry, prophecy, Gospels, letters, and apocalyptic literature.
Paul describes Scripture as God-breathed and useful; Jesus connects the Scriptures to His work and the mission that follows.
Reading responsibly means respecting each book's genre while tracing the connected story.

8 minRead and observe. Read both passages and mark direct statements about Scripture, fulfilment, and mission. Ask: What does 2 Timothy 3:14-17 directly say about Scripture? What sections and events appear in Luke 24:44-47?
7 minDiscuss. Compare genres and classify “library/one story” as a canonical synthesis rather than a direct quotation. Ask: What changes when we know whether a passage is poetry, narrative, or a letter? Which statement is direct text and which is synthesis: “Scripture is God-breathed” and “The Bible is one library telling one story”?
