Objective: Students explain why Passover and the sea crossing became Israel’s defining rescue story.

Read: Exodus 12:11-14, 24-27; 14:13-14, 21-31

Opening: Ask: Why do families or nations repeat stories about how they were rescued or formed?

Say:

Passover marked the night Israel left slavery under God’s protection and judgment.
The people were commanded to remember and explain the event.
At the sea, Israel could not rescue itself; the Lord opened the way.
The Exodus became a repeated identity story, not a one-time fact to forget.

Ask:
